Allotment Greenhouses

This is not my greenhouse, but that of an allotment neighbour, and now I have greenhouse envy. Apparently it was built many years ago, and it looks it, because you just don’t get that solidity of design these days. Makes mine look naff, to be honest. It’s the Rolls Royce of greenhouses in my view.

Anyway, I shall be taking pictures of mine tomorrow, to share, but this is the gold standard to which all future greenhouses must be compared!

Looks like a good greenhouse - I have one that is approx 12 x 6 ' that I bought off a friend many years ago. It has all the staging etc but I never seem to have enough room for the trays!
happy growing

Chicken lover - it's a fabulous greenhouse, isn't it? I wish mine was as good. I never have enough room either, so we have a hardening off greenhouse too; one of those frames with a plastic cover, and a cold frame with a glass lid, and a shelter frame with no lid ... and it's still not enough!
