Royal Black Chilli update

As black as your hat and as small as my thumbnail, but definitely a chilli (or chili, or chillie,or chile - it seems you can spell it any way you like). I wonder how hot it will be and when it will decide to turn red?

It looks pretty fierce!

Your comment on the spelling of chilli made me smile, although I agree that there are quite a few acceptable ways to spell it I think someone in my local Tesco might have taken it a bit far with a spelling of Chilliy

Every one of my chillies has stayed green this year and none are particularly hot which is quite disappointing...however they are very big....Haven't decided what to do with them yet!!

I am growing a very similar looking 'Czech black' chili pepper. It doesn't really turn red on the outside but the inside turns from green to red. It is not that hot.
